The International Coeliac Disease Symposion in Amsterdam saw AESKU with a booth at the first floor of the exhibition area and several posters where our products where represented.
The Meeting was divided into a scientific and a clinical forum. Scientists who are dealing with the latest research and patients who are looking for a way to understand their condition.
For our crew this meant interesting discussions about our tTg New Generation assay and the science behind it with the heads of international research as well as the basic contact with all those patients out there who give us another confirmation why it is so important to have a good, early and reliable diagnosis for their condition.
AESKU product performance was presented in the poster sessions where Stan McMillan from Western Health and Social Care Trust, Belfast, Northern Ireland presented his data of 8 years of using the AESKULISA assays postulating that a biopsy might not be necessary anymore in case the assay result is highly positive.
Also the ARUP Laboratories, Salt Lake City, Utah presented a poster where the AESKULISA tTg New Generation IgA and IgG assay proved to perform very well in a large group of pediatric samples.
