AESKU.DIAGNOSTICS is glad to announce the launch of our new Deamidated Gliadin peptides (DGP) ELISA line to complete our Celiac disease product offer.

  
Recent work has revealed that gliadin reactive antibodies from celiac patients bind a very limited number of specific epitopes on the gliadin molecule. The selective deamidation of gliadin by tissue transglutaminase results in enhanced binding by anti-gliadin antibodies. Assays using deamidated and defined peptides have been shown to have higher diagnostic accuracy for celiac disease when compared to standard anti-gliadin assays.

The AESKULISA DGP kits are solid phase enzyme immunoassays employing synthetic, deamidated gliadin-derived peptides developed by Aesku. The assays can be used for the quantitative and qualitative detection of IgA, IgG or both antibodies against deamidated gliadin-specific peptides in human serum and plasma. As always, the kits share the same working protocol and common reagents with the rest of the Aeskulisa line, what makes them ideal for automation and easy integration with the other AI routine parameters from Aesku being used at the lab.
