THROMBOSIS

Since 2006, the diagnostic criteria of the antiphospholipide syndrome (APS) include a third laboratory marker: in addition to the detection of lupus anticoagulant and IgG and/or IgM antibodies against cardiolipin, also the detection of IgG and/or IgM antibodies against ß2-glycoprotein I (ß2-GPI) is now part of the catalogue of criteria. For these applications, AESKU.DIAGNOSTICS offers exceptional stable tests characterized by excellent reproducibility due to the use of human ß2-GPI only, both for the cardiolipin and ß2-GPI tests utilizing special coating protocols for cardiolipin.

Stability and reproducibility are not only achieved by the use of the so-called Sapporo standards both used in the standardization of the AESKULISA® ß2-GPI-GM tests and also – togehter with the Harris sera - for AESKULISA® Cardiolipin-GM tests. In addition to tests for the individual detection of IgG, IgM and IgA antibodies, AESKULISA® Cardiolipin-Check and ß2-GPI-Check also allow screening for the efficient detection of all 3 isotypes in a single run.

In addition to cardiolipin and ß2-GPI, AESKU.DIAGNOSTICS offers a number of other phospholipide ELISA tests, including tests for the detection of antibodies against Phosphatidylserine, Choline and Ethanolamine but also screening and profile tests. The test range is completed by tests specially designed for the diagnosis of pregnancy complications in the APS like the AESKULISA® Prothrombin, Annexin V and Laminin tests.
